As part of our CSR program, we are humbled to visit Fatima Children’s Home in Marsabit County.
It was a great learning experience for the children and a day to remember at the home. The children were able to learn from the management of the home on some of the challenges the children face in the society and how such institutions try to amalgamate them into their system and take good care of them.
They were also able to learn various ways organizations could be involved in various initiatives aimed at alleviating the lives of the less fortunate in society. We also got a chance to play games with the children and also engage them in various activities such as mentorship sessions, health education, and socialization.
Finally, as we left we had mixed feelings, joy for the children for receiving the gifts we brought and sadness for our team hoping to come back soon.
